Before work I felt the need to do some warmup sketching.
(yes I work on Sundays too...)
This began as a scene of a mountain,
but scenery of any kind seems to elude my artistic mind...
so it quickly morphed into a werewolf.
here's to hoping a werewolf
is more fun to look at then some mountains!
cheers!

ReplyDeleteKendra Melton: this took a bit over an hour? not too sure about that. Well this is one of those warmups that kind of evolved into a more finished piece...happens once in awhile :P

ReplyDeleteThe fact that your warm-ups look better than anything I could ever draw in a million years of trying physically pains me. Stop being so damned good! :P
ReplyDeleteCapnG: heh well, to be honest-it started as a warmup that ended up suckin in all my energy leaving me too tired to do any of the actual work I was planning on doing-until much later...Always appreciate your enthusiastic support my friend!

This is incredible. I love the vivid fire colours against the shadows - it really makes the werewolf's teeth and eyes pop. Amazing!

ReplyDeletejenniferkoliver: yay contrast! haha yeah, werewolves are always fun to paint. I can always let loose with 'em.
